Omnes Games Dodgeball November 2019

On Friday 8th November, ten children from Class 3 and ten children from Class 2 travelled to Lynnsport to take part in the second Omnes Games event of this academic year. The children took part in a series of matches against other teams in their own key stage.

Omnes means for all and aims to encourage children to try new sporting activities to inspire an interest in being fit and active. Prior to the event, Sam from KLCF came to the school to train children in Class 3 for the event during a special PE lesson.

Many children in the school have also received additional dodgeball training as we have been fortunate to have Jade from Premier Sports delivering 2 breakfast clubs per week since the half-term break. These continue until the 20th November.

The children enjoyed participating in the event and we look forward to more activities over the coming months.

Thank you to Miss Waters, Mrs Collins, Mrs Mills and Mrs Cross for making the visit possible by taking the children and supporting this event.
