Schools must aim to have the highest attendance possible for all their pupils in order for them to achieve their maximum potential. An attendance below 90% is regarded as persistent absence. We recognise Covid-19 has had a huge impact on attendance over the past few years, although we need to work together to ensure that all children attend school regularly, unless they are too ill to do so, to ensure that their learning is not further impacted.

Please remember that holidays during term time will not be authorised.

To promote good attendance, in each newsletter we share the class attendance figures for the month and a class certificate is awarded. 

Our class attendance figures for December 2023 are as follows:

Class 1 - 94.1%

Class 2 - 91.1%

Class 3 - 90.9%

Class 4 - 94.6%

Well done to Class 1 for having the highest attendance for December!

Our overall school attendance so far this academic year is 92.5%.

Letters will be sent out each half-term to the parents/carers of any child with an attendance less than 90%.

Our overall school attendance for the academic year 2022-23 was 95.8%.
