Father's Day Money Pots and Bags

Class 1 got creative in preparation for Father’s Day. The children were able to encounter the sensory experience of using the medium of clay as they set about making money pots for their dads.   This also helped to further develop the children’s fine motors kills and fostered an early appreciation of visual arts for some. The children used clay tools to mark their pots and then paint them with the aim for them to be colours their dads would appreciate.
The children then decorated bags to put their completed pieces in. The children were very proud of their completed work and the dad’s appreciated the efforts their children had gone to for them.
